Personal Statement:
Alexander M. Gormley joined Carr Maloney as an Associate in 2010. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph A. Dugan, Jr. in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland from 2009-2010.
During law school, Alexander interned for the Washington Bureau of NBC News and served as a law clerk for a large, Washington D.C.-based public affairs and policy firm. Prior to attending law school, Alexander worked as a Portfolio Manager for M&T Bank in Baltimore, Maryland. Alexander received his undergraduate degree in International Relations and wrote his senior thesis on international law, specifically recommending amendments to Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations. Alexander also received a certification in Hispanic Studies and is conversational in Spanish.
