Personal Statement:
Mariana enjoys a diverse practice litigating matters on behalf of clients in causes involving professional malpractice, premises liability and negligence. She has substantial litigation experience in both state and federal courts in Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Mariana focuses and dedicates herself to building strong client relationships, and responding effectively and efficiently to client's needs.  She analyzes cases and develops strategies to achieve the best legal result for each client.  Mariana represents a variety of clients including a Fortune 100 pharmacy chain, national entertainment promoters and sponsors, entertainment venues, a major national telephone service carrier and charitable organizations supporting adults recovering from mental health issues.  Mariana also serves as counsel for religious and non-profit institutions.

While studying law in Argentina, Mariana, who is fluent in Spanish, interned for the Honorable Juan Esteban Ciciarro in the Criminal Court of Investigation in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  She assisted in investigating and disposing criminal cases. She also clerked for the United States Department of Justice in the Organized Crime & Racketeering Division assisting in the prosecution of white-collar crime.

In law school, Mariana served on the Editorial Board of the University of Law Forum and was selected and participated on the University's moot court trial team for two years, which competed nationwide. After graduating from law school, Mariana served as the law clerk for the Honorable William D. Quarles in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
