Personal Statement:
Mike defends corporations in litigation involving consumer products, construction equipment, medical devices, pharmaceuticals and food products. Mike has substantial experience in suits involving professional services against construction entities, physicians and attorneys. Mike also represents corporations, nonprofit organizations and construction entities in contract disputes and employment litigation. Mike is an active member of DRI and the Maryland Defense Counsel. Mike has published two articles in DRI’s For The Defense magazine including Constructing a Products Liability Defense Using the Economic Loss Doctrine (December 2007) and Colleges and Universities Face Growing Trend of Litigation Stemming From Student Self-Harm (November 2006). Mike has first chaired over a dozen jury and bench trials, including two recent jury trials involving catastrophic injuries that both concluded in defense verdicts.
