Personal Statement:
Nat Calamis is an associate at the firm. His practice focuses on employment law matters. His other areas of specialization include commercial litigation, professional liability, directors and officers liability, civil rights, and non-profit/religious institutions practice.
Nat has represented employers of all sizes in both state and federal court, as well as in federal and local administrative agencies in Maryland and the District of Columbia. This includes litigation, counseling and training.
Nat has defended employers in a variety of employment related claims, including common law and statutory claims of discrimination, harassment and retaliation. Nat has served as lead counsel for his clients in bench and jury trials, and before administrative agencies. In addition, he regularly practices before the EEOC and state/local EEO agencies.
Nat also represents corporations and other businesses in all types of commercial and business law disputes. This representation includes litigating cases involving violations of non-competitions/non-solicitation agreements, misappropriation of trade secrets, and all types of breach of contract issues.
Nat has been with the firm since 2004. He received his Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in 2005. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College in May of 2001 with a major in History and a minor in Economics.
