Personal Statement:
Richard L. Schwartz is a senior counsel with the firm. He litigates matters
involving professional liability and insurance coverage. He has litigation
experience in general litigation and complex wrongful death cases in courts
throughout the country. In addition, he has extensive liability experience
in insurance coverage cases at the trial and appellate level.
Richard received his law degree from Wake Forest University (J.D. 1983) where he was a member of the law review. He graduated from Washington & Lee University (B.A. 1972) and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (M.A.).
