On October 20, 2016, Carr Maloney Member Dennis Quinn will present “Avoiding Malpractice and Bar Complaints 2016” at the D.C. Bar Conference Center. Mr. Quinn, a Member of the Virginia State Bar’s Standing Committee on Legal Ethics and a Faculty Member for the Harry S. Carrico Professionalism course, will teach daily practice and risk prevention techniques to help reduce the possibility of bar complaints and related malpractice claims. He will also discuss the major differences between relevant ethics rules in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
