About
Martin R. Shaw is an associate attorney whose practice focuses on commercial litigation, complex civil litigation, business law, construction law, and professional liability matters.
Before joining the firm, Martin was an associate at an Am Law 200 firm, where he represented insurance carriers, policy holders, security companies, and commercial property owners and managers in both state and federal court proceedings.
Martin previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable William A. Snoddy, Coordinating Judge for the Circuit Court of Prince George’s County, Maryland. He also completed a judicial internship with the Honorable Anita Josey-Herring at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
Martin earned his J.D. from Howard University School of Law, where he served as a Senior Staff Editor for the Howard Law Journal, the law school’s principal scholarly publication. He also holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University, where he was also a member of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Team.
