Dennis Quinn Appointed to the Virginia State Bar’s Standing Committee on Legal Ethics

Carr Maloney P.C. is proud to announce the appointment of its Member Dennis Quinn to the Virginia State Bar’s Standing Committee on Legal Ethics.

As a member of the Standing Committee, Dennis will participate in issuing advisory opinions, interpreting and applying the Rules of Professional Conduct in Virginia, and considering proposals for amendments of the Rules.

Currently an elected representative to the Virginia State Bar Council, Dennis is a former President of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys and faculty member for the Virginia State Bar’s Harry L. Carrico Professionalism Course. Taught to all newly admitted Virginia lawyers, this program focuses on a lawyer’s ethical and professional obligations to clients, society, and the judicial system.

Dennis concentrates his practice on representing lawyers, accountants and other professionals in malpractice matters and ethics complaints. He regularly advises lawyers and law firms on ethics issues that arise in the course of their practice.
