Learn how civility, etiquette, and professional courtesy in the courtroom, and in other legal situations, improves the practice of law. As attorneys, we wear several different hats as mediators, litigators, negotiators, advocates, and advisors. Ethical rules and the rules of civil procedure govern our conduct in litigation, but interactions with clients, opposing counsel and the court should be controlled by broader principles of civility.
