Carr Maloney member Tina M. Maiolo and associate Suzanne E. Derr published an article entitled, “An answer to your prayers: R visas for religious workers,” in Inside Counsel. The article explains that the criteria for qualifying for an R-1 visa are essentially the same as the qualifying criteria for religious workers who apply for an EB-4 ‘special immigrant’ visa.
