Washington, D.C. (January 10, 2020): Carr Maloney Partner and Virginia State Bar Ethics Committee Chair Dennis Quinn was quoted in article published in the Virginia State Bar titled, “Bar Urges Clear Rule Against Sex With Clients.”
Virginia is currently one of the seven states that has not adopted the American Bar Association rule prohibiting sexual relations between attorney and client. Dennis and author Peter Vieth go further into discussion about the risks and ethical concerns revolving this topic and what the Ethics Committee proposes to do about it.
