Mariana D. Bravo Sworn in as President of The Hispanic National Bar Association

Washington, D.C. (September 12, 2022): Carr Maloney Partner Mariana D. Bravo was sworn in as the 45th President of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) on Friday, September 9, 2022. The swearing-in ceremony occurred during the 50th Anniversary of HNBA’s Annual Convention Gala Dinner and Celebration in Washington, D.C.

This is an incredible honor and a direct reflection of Mariana’s dedication and years of service to the HNBA. Mariana has previously served as HNBA President-Elect 2021-2022 and served on the Executive Committee for the past six years as Vice President of Divisions, Sections of Committees, Vice President of External Affairs, Vice President of Programs, and the Regional President of Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, and West Virginia.

Mariana is a trusted advocate and litigator and concentrates her practice on professional liability, construction, real estate, business and employment law, and personal injury disputes. Among her dedication to her clients and obtaining favorable outcomes on their behalf, Mariana is the Firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee Co-chair and heads the Firm’s Pro Bono Committee. She leads Carr Maloney’s participation in the Washington Lawyer’s Committee’s DC Public School Partnership Program. She also actively participates in charitable events including the annual book drive for Turning the Page and the used clothes drive for the homeless, sponsored by Gifts for the Homeless.
